I'm a great fan of Blackmoor Nurseries and we buy all our fruit bushes and trees from them.  I've a nice Charles Ross waiting to be planted as we speak.

If you follow them on Twitter (@BlackmoorFruit) you get notification of special offers.  This weekend it's 3 Autumn Bliss raspberry canes for £1 (plus postage).  Postage takes the edge off if you order only 3, since that would be £1 + £3.50 = £1.50 per cane.  But postage seems to top out at £7 even if you order loads of canes, bringing the cost per cane below £1 very quickly.

Good offer but Autumn Bliss compared to Joanj or polka: the crop and particularly the taste is for me poor.   Joanj are particuarly rampant and for a few pennies more within a couple of years you will be fighting them off.
Erika is reputed to be even better.

Sorry, I'm a bit late with this weekend's posting.

A crown of Glaskins Perpetual rhubarb for £1.50 + P&P.  http://www.blackmoor.co.uk/products/1001530#.UPwf9PKdL69

You can order more than one, of course.  I bought 2 x last week's blackberry offer, so that's another little job once the snow melts!

I just realised they sell dwarfing rootstocks to do your own grafts...... very interesting...... and they're not pricy either....
