Window of opportunity

It seems a long time since I had reasonable weather on one of my days off, but on Thursday I could see a small gap between the wet weather we've been having and the cold weather on it's way. As my plot is a fairly sandy loam, it was just about drained enough to be plantable, and the frost was only on the top 2 or 3mm. Now starts the anxious wait to see if they emerge!
Oops!! Didn't mention that I planted a row of 30 garlic cloves.
