Very little detail - find a plot, grab it, tell the local authority and cultivate it does not exactly tell anybody what to do to secure an allotment that they can call their own and keep.  And replies to the question what a landowner needs to do who wishes to offer a plot for allotments regarding provision of water, light etc or whether they need to go to the planning departments, was equally unsatisfactory.

Yes I agree with what you say however it does give some guidance to where to look for the detailed legislation to maybe proceed further with a cause.
