How successful is no dig?

No Dig does not mean no hoe so when you hoe you allow the soil to breath

I'm convinced by the arguments, but I'm surprised you can all find/create enough material to mulch your whole plot every year. I guess it's easier if you're on a site where you get manure/ council compost etc delivered.

It isn`t that hard to get compost material, I don`t use grass or weeds but use 1/3 cardboard shreds, courgette plants, cabbage bits etc It all adds up and we peel and eat a lot of veg in our house. I don`t compost allium parts or potato roots but all my potato tops went in, they were blight free. Add the bean plants, comfrey, old marigolds etc and you soon get there
