We have now finished our early sweetcorn and starting one of our three mid-late season varieties.  My Conqueror and Incredible have full sized cobs of corn but the kernels are still white so I am leaving the plants in the ground for another month or so.  I know you can force green tomatoes red but is there an artificial way of ripening sweetcorn to yellow for harvest

I'd check the kernels for ripeness by squeezing one, I've grown Incredible and from memory it isn't that late, or indeed, that yellow when ripe...

There is no way to force ripen sweetcorn, When the tassles have turned black then they are ripe.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful
