dead heading

Going around the flower beds dead heading ,I thought what a shame to dump all the lovely colored petals so I took the mixed lot of flowers heads and put them in the micro wave for two minutes and make potpourri for Xmas I'll put rose oil in the tin and store it giving it a shake every few weeks,hope yous don't think me a tight sod I just hate throwing all the lovely floweres in the compost bin :) .
