Yes and no!

The ones planted on the top of the allotment are doing very nicely thanks:). The ones at the bottom are turning Black on the leaves and dying as they are constantly.in water logged soil!

irridium

it doesn't help that they're shallow-rooted, but at least these new ones will sucker soon, and you'll have new ones to replant the bottom end in no time ;)

Borlotti

Only one of mine came up, tried the seed tapes but no success with them this year.  :( :(

I'll lend you one of mine Borlotti as my whole row came up.   :P :D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

Mine came up very well this year.  Never had to thin out so many.

I find that self sown autum ones normally have a huge rate of germination but do not produce the big roots.  It was dry in the winter this year so few germinated, the wet late March woke loads up and they are growing as weeds all over the place. So I am looking forward to seeing the results.

I was sure someone had tried it, this thread might be of interest;.
