Left all my young plants out in the garden today, and darling grandchildren pulled out all the labels 'to make a road'.
I have two lots of what look like identical plants , and I can't tell which is which.
Is there any way to tell before they grow bigger, because the cucumbers are staying at home in pots, and courgettes are going to the plot, and i don't want  to mix them up.
Thanks in advance.

The courgette will grow a lot faster that the cues so just wait a wee while and you will be able to tell them apart.
you may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with de reaper.

Cucs will start to climb and courgettes stay 'down' and very soon you will see some immature courgettes emerging from between leaves.
The young plant of those two does look very similar but the differences will appear quite soon.. ;)

Thank you - guess I'll have to re-pot them and wait a bit.  I was hoping to be able to plant the cucumbers into their final pots over the weekend, but never mind there's plenty of other stuff to do now the weather has finally changed.
