Hi, my father in law has two geese, Gordon and jemima. Jemima has been sitting on a nest of eggs for about 30 days now, but he has suddenly had a thought about Gordon, is there any chance he will attack the babies. This is the first time we have been in the situation lol, I hope someone can help and any other advice will be greatly appreciated . Thank you , Laura

We never had a problem with the gander attacking the young - attacking us if we went within 100 yards of the nest, yes......and we once had a fox pick off the last in line as mum led them along....but no, if ours were anything to go by, they are safe from Dad.

Hi, thank you for that, at least we wont have to worry about that. What a shame about that last little gosling, we will have to keep a watch on them.....if they are ever born. We dont even know if gordon managed the task, this will be his first time, im not sure about jemima as she was given to them and we dont even know how old she is.
