Are these containers safe to use?

We've been offered a number of barrels to use as water butts. They have been used to store AdBlue.

(For those who don't know - I didn't - it's a diesel additive designed to ensure efficiency and low carbon emissions.) I gather it's non-toxic and safe to handle, but as we would be using them to store water for our plants, I thought it best to check first before I agreed!

Anyone know anything about this? Or used such containers?

i have used some barrels that had it in, i gave them a good wash out and have had no issues with them, mine were blue poly barrels that i cut the top off so i could give them a good rinse, there is nothing toxic in the adblue

I recall reading about this on another forum. Bizarrely, AdBlue is just urea in water (hard to believe, isn't it?) so rinsing is all the barrels need.
