First car boot of the year!

Oooh one of my passions....lovely warm sunny day, it wasnt very big but......what a bargain I got! Hubby saw something and pointed it out. It was a telescope!! ;D

I have always been fascinated by the planets and stars, so in theory I should hopeully I shall see a little more of them. Oh to see Saturns rings, no matter how small is a dream.

Tomorrow night will be the start. I have been out all day and visiting this evening but I did manage to put it together, I have tomorrow to read again how to use it......(ha! me and technology) then off on me maiden voyage into space.

I do love a good bargain  ;D ;D ;D

I love a good rummage at the car boot sale and what a fab bargain and wonderful night sky last night to use it. Another poster was saying that they could see jupiters moons last night through a 9x scope so sounds like its a perfect time to be looking.

I have a car boot sale list that i copy to the familiy to get them to look out for the unusual things i'm after still on the list after three years an apple press! and visa versa dad wants a certain make of fishing reel from the 50's and mums jigsaw mad (but no photographs).

I read that post Sunloving, how brilliant! Unfortunately I couldn't set it up right....plus Im not familiar with the technical terms.
