Locate a shrub

I got the name of a shrub that would be a deterant to back up a fence. I believe it grows to 2 mtr. high and as I remember the name goes something like this "Berberis Thurnberger Atro Purpera" anyone recognise it from what i can remember.  Much obliged if you can help.
