Steve.

I grew amazonka last year, the plants where given to me, but they did not grow like a bush, they trailed like any other pumpkin I have grown before. I still have two 'kins left in storage.

Steve, what did you think of the taste & were they very vigorous?

Steve.

Hi Granny, sorry I got caught up in something else.

The flavour was quite good but nothing to write home about, I did not consider this plant to be anymore vigoruos than other pumpkins I have grown.

1 'kin left now, so here is a photo for you, all where about this size or slightly bigger.

This year I will not be growing edible pumpkins, just a giant. Instead I will grow more Butternut squash (Var: Sprinter) as I was particularly impressed with it's taste and storing qualities. Sadly no photo's of that one as all have been eaten.
