Robins at war

After putting some seed out on the back fence table we had 4 ....yes...4 robins all arrive together and I witnessed these 2 chest out,head back displaying their red breasts to put the other one off .
Eventually just one remained as the others cleared off,they tried again dinnertime today but it seems one particular Robin has seed rights and the others just dont get a look in.
Have never seen this style of aggressive display before,me and Jude were amazed.

Robins are one of the most belligerent birds. Now you've seen it in action. ;D

yeah, bizzare - we get quite a few robins too, but 've never seen them do anything like this :o

how odd!
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
