Just noticed the leaves are up in the front lawn-the crocuses are exceptionally early this year!  Happy New Year everyone!

My scillas are up, and I've been trampling them without noticing.

My Scilla ifyoucanspellitorsayitusedtobetubergenianayouarebetterthanme ones are in flower. Bit annoying really as they need cold to lengthen the stems, so they are actually flowering below soil level.
Gardening is the great leveller.

I've never seen that, but I regularly find some of my snowdrops start flowering with about an inch of stem, then continue to grow till the blooms are at the normal height.

My mum still has her geraniums outside - and they are looking really healthy. Plus my Rosemary is just about to break into flower - the earliest it has done so yet.

I have had lobelia flowering in the garden non-stop since late spring 2011!! Also pinks, primula and crocosmia. Oh and the grass is growing!!

Wallflowers and Sweet William here, pot marigolds still going, campanula, fuschsia, pelargoniums in pots...I shall never get cleared up ready for next year!  Good that the lettuce in the veg patch are thriving, though.

I was having a bit of a tidy up around my parents' garden over the break and saw some muscari in full flower like it was April already. There were quite a few anemone de Caen open and even a snapdragon in bloom too.
