I second what everyone has said Betty, your love of the cats is lovely, and I know you will continue to care for them. they are lucky cats to have you.

.  The cats deserve the best possible care I can give them and if this means I get upset if anything bad happens to them - then I will just have to cope with it.

Thanks again everyone, you are a great bunch of friends.  :)
and, if they didn't have you, where would they be?

I was brought up with dogs but became a cat owner when I met my hubby. We had a brilliant cat for 14 years till sadly she got killed, and now we have another different but equally wonderful young cat who lights up our life. I love just watching cats, their behaviour is so funny and fascinating, and I love their unique personalities. When you own a cat, despite some drawbacks like the sharp claws (!) they reward you with a lot of love and affection. Ours is another member of the family.

I know how much you love those cats Betty! Well done for looking after them so well!  Our biggest curse as a human is to have to outlive the pets that bring us so much joy...
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

You do a great job Betty and gave the cats a much better life than they would have had.
And you do not do a bad job with the humans too :D :D :D
