I saw the lot twice Two freinds had entries Paul Harmer Carnations Silver madal, Three firsts two seconds and 3 thirds i think. Bob Peece two first in Chrysanths best stands.

onions are not that easy to grow for size but there are at least 4 categories in giant veg fraternity they make onions seem easy :tomatoes, shallots,lettuce and garlic
all records that have held for 20 years.

Not easy to grow giants from sets.... all the biggies these days are seed, Kelsae's are good to practice on at first, once you can get a 2-3lb kelsae to grow outdoors switch to growing in a tunnels and change to Aislaes......
