My minor claim to fame is that I am on the 'We are the Champions' video (you can't see me though!) I was a member of the Queen fan club back in 1976  8), and we got an invite to the Drury Lane theatre in about 1978/9 where the band gave us a free copy of the single and then came out and played the track about three times so we could get used to it before filming. Me and my mate Chas were not impressed with the track at all so stayed at the back and refused to take part in all the scarf waving! Also I think it was the first time Freddie wore a leotard, so there was a stunned silence when he first came on stage! The band did an amazing concert for us after the filming though, as it was only a small venue they did all their old stuff which I love. I kind of lost interest in them after that when they became a lot more commercial....sigh!
