I have just been reading an old posting. could anyone tell me what Oca is? is it something like a potato? Taa Ann

A tuber crop, but completely unrelated to potato. The critical issue is its day-length sensitivity, which means the crop will only tuberise from late October onwards. If you get early frosts, tubers will not have formed before the plants are killed., whereas if you can keep them frost-free until mid December you can get about 1.5 kg of crop from each plant.
