my cambridge favorites ,after cutting back hard and giving a feed,have now started flowering?thats not right is it ?

entirely possible! the hard prune and feed along with the hot cold hot weather we've had (at least down south!) has fooled my strawberries too!

thanks Linnea that sounds like the answer, as am done south too,do you think we might get a second crop? and will they taste the same i wonder?

yep, I've had a few already, they don't seem to be as sweet and juicy as the first crop but perfectly edible. probably won't get as many either
I've put the not as sweet and juicy down to not so much sun
