My feet have been bitten  badly by mossies whikle sitting at the lotties, the last couple of days I have sprayed my feet with Windex..for cleaning windows and they have left me alone..Glass Plus I think it is called in the Uk..anyway the blue stuff with ammonmia in..it is ammonia that is in the Afterbite sticks..anyway whatever
it seems that they stay away from the smell of glass cleaner and it takes the itch out of old bites too..

Don't laugh but having been bit something rotten and having no after bite stuff someone told me to rub in Vick-I have never seen bites clear up so fast.

Vick contains menthol; I don't know what it does to bites but it's a pretty good antiseptic.

If I rub raw onion on my bite straight away it takes away the itch and the pain, I have an avon spray repellient but I can't remember the name of it.   ;D

At the moment I've got 'millions' of mossie bites.. >:(..and all are itchy, red big lumps.. >:(
Insect bite creams don't work for me for long..after couple of days the cream itself start causing itchiness.. ::)
But I've found out that those hand sanitizing gels does the job quite well..the alcohol cools the skin and ease the itch down to tolerable level.. ;D....and I suppose kills any bacteria too that may cause infection..it just stings a lot if the skin is broken.. :-X..outch..

i never got bitten until i had my boys and something must of changed as everytime i go to the allotment i have at least 2, went there the other day and the little critter bit me 4 times on one foot and twice on the other, i was unable to work for 2 days due to the swelling and pain that i had in them, not nice!
Husband swears by jungle formula and b complex capsules, neither work for me though

Its Avon skin so soft, and i find it works very well and gives you lovely soft skin to boot,
But it does attract dirt to stick to your skin when digging tho.
you may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with de reaper.

No this is a repelient spray that has that horrid smell that keeps the bugs and girls at bay.  :P

My daughter in law (Thai) smelled very odd the other day, and I found she had a little tub of something smelling rather like Vick that she was rubbing on her bites. I couldn't read the writing, but have now thought of asking her if it is Tiger Balm.

Kleftiwallah

Tiger Balm every time.   Two years in Singapore and two in Hong Kong,  I would never be without Tiger Balm.   They now make a clear / white one for the wussies !     :D      Cheers,   Tony.
