What a difference a variety makes

Cara on the left....

Pink fur apple on the right...

Both just one plant....

And an onion in the middle for good measure!

The Pink fur apple and cara are on the same patch of ground, had same water and planted at same time.  Pink fur apple hulmes quite small.

Had a little bit of blight on cara which  i have removed.




When do people normally harvest their pink fur apple?

pinks are a maincrop and wont be ready till september at the earliest i leave mine till october.
you may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with de reaper.

Agh right, well i think theres blight around i might spray them
