Greenfly on raspberries - should I worry?

My autumn raspberries are crawling with greenfly at the moment. There are lots of ladybirds and ladybird larvae on them, so if the greenfly won't do any major harm I'm happy to leave them alone.

Other than the aphids they are looking very healthy and flower buds are forming.

On everything else I manage aphids by squidging, but I can't do that with the raspberries (ouch). Do I need to get the soap spray out, or can I just leave them alone and let the ladybirds get on with it?

Also, I've noticed that if I shake the plants, the greenfly all dive off - but I guess that won't get rid of them for long?

If they really bother you... shake the worst off and spray them... on the ground. The ladybirds will fly out of range and the larvae should hold on... but I've never know aphids be a real problem on rasps..  :-\

I would leave them be..like you said there is alredy natures own task force on a job.. ;)
