Bun

Can you tell me what you think are the best sites for buying seeds.  ??? I'm getting fed up with trying to troll around while entertaining my nearly 4 year old.   :-\
Thanks. :)

Hi Bun - I'm not saying this is the best site but I posted an order for seeds with T & M on the internet late Monday afternoon and received them this morning by 2nd class post.  Everything I ordered too.  Having used their seeds before I am confident they will produce reasonable crops and I'll soon let 'em know if they don't......... 8)

This thread of mine might be off help.

I have used T&M, DT Brown, Simpsons, Kings, Suttons, HDRA, Tuckers etc over the years.

Hard to say who is best or cheapest but I like Kings, Tuckers and HDRA best I think.

Seeds in supermarkets are cheap as chips, and in my experience just  as viable as from the more expensive outlets. For example, Lidl, 29p a small packet. 69p for larger seed, and about a quid for F1. Seed catalogues are for LOOKING at in the winter.

Hi Bun
I just brought loads of seeds from Wilkinsons, three packs for two. no more than £1.50 a pack for named suppliers and no more than 99p for wilkinsons own variety. I got 3 artichokes for £1.99 and they are meant to last for up to 5 years!!
I also got a whitecurrant for £1.99.
Now all I have to do is get digging the couch grass and make some room ;)

I like this site for the range of veg and because some of the profits go to the HDRA who support organic research: http://www.organiccatalog.com/catalog/
not cheap for seed spuds though ...

Thanks guys.
Sometimes it's easy to forget how to go shopping the 'other' way.  ;D
I never thought of looking in the cheap shops.   :)

Hi Bun B&Q sell multi packs of veg and flower seeds they work out at about 43p per pack ;D

Bun

Hi Roy,
I've seen the ones at B&Q, but I just don't fancy those particular ones.
I'm going to Wilkinsons & the pound shop on Monday, I'll tell you what I come up with. :)
