Courgettes slow to grow

its  good to know i can move it as i  planted it  in the wrong place it was hiding in with the courgettes  and i dont think  a jack o lantern pumpkin would be a good bed fellow for them

my courgetes in Kent have courgettes on about 4 inches long, reckon i'll have my first to eat at the weekend.

Looking round our site quite a few courgettes are now beginning to pick up speed now the night time temps are higher. 

I have a couple growing on a straw bale and they have taken off like a rocket.  I hope to try and see if I can get them even earlier next year that way.  Sorry to be clever dicky but I did manage my first ones in May this year helped by the hot weather in April.  I am now up to two per day and then soon I wll have enough for half the street.  ;D  But I have failed miserably on the broad bean front this year.
