Alpine Strawberries -does anyone grow them -what variety

I have some supposedly Georgian strawberries, which seed around, and have a few fruit if the blackbirds don't get them first, but even when really ripe, they are not what I would term delicious, and seem full of seeds

Does anyone grow a really good variety, or are they not really worthwhile

Years ago I saw Baron Soelemacher (or something similar) recommended, but could never find it, with the internet it might be easier, but I dint want to bother if they are not much better than the ones I have
