missing sidebar

My sidebar has gone missing with all the bits and bobs I had in it.  Tried to recover it but can't seem to (used to use a right click on the mouse).  Does any one have any ideas on how to recover it.  Thanking in anticipation.

can't you just click on favourites... qahtan

In the Start menu, click on "Control Panel" - "Appearance and Personalization" - "Windows Sidebar Properties" and tick the box "Sidebar is always on top of other windows" then click "apply".

That's how I do it on mine anyway (Vista).
