I'm going to take part in the Crawley Down Open Gardens on the 19th June  :)

Only one problem, my garden is a mess, got lots of plants at the charity plant sale though  ;)

Please reserve padded room  ;D

Its an incentive to get the garden looking good ;D
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Err.... where's the problem?-if it looked as good as that good before it can't be that bad now!!!!

gp.girl

I was very bad last year. Its amazing just how fast brambles grow  >:( not to mention the bindweed and in the case of the jasmine the actual plant.

Ohh..its ok..just little selective pruning and its presentable again. I prefer gardens that are tad on 'wild' side...when everything is really tidy it looks like all the plats are offered 'on plate' for perfect view. The slightly unruly garden offers more for the eye..it looks natural, plats show more their true 'nature' and you have to really look into the the garden to discover all the 'goodies'.. ;)
'Just' pull the odd weed that you can really see and prune few bits off that come too much over the paths..and job done.. ;) And quests can either take it or leave it. If you like it and OH can cope with it..thats all what matters!

Thats one way of getting the garden ready, a deadline is a very good idea.

Mums been round and pruned the brambles! Would of done the rose as well but there's a bee nest in it so we ran away instead  :D Will have to phone the nice man to take them away  :(

Need another waste bag or two.....
