Oh lor, sympathies - my hips been playing up lately too but not quite bust yet!

Won't mind so much if only anyone knew what was wrong, doctors mystified. hopefully the x-ray will shed some light on the problem.

So sorry to hear about your hip gp.girl and hope it doesn't need replacing as you will miss out on growing anything this year.

Good luck with the Xray.

gp.girl

Hope its not that bad, muscle strength, movement and reflexs are all fine it just hurts a lot. Really stupid I know. Normal pain killers won't touch it either.

I had hip pain last year and problems walking any distance at all.  It turned out to be 'referred back pain'.  My back playing up, but the nerve endings indicating severe pain in the hip.  Good NHS physio sorted it completely with a set of exercises.

Hope your mystery hip pain has a benign cause too.  If not, there are good reports from people who had the op.  Friend of ours is still climbing rock faces after his.

Hope you will get relief from the pain soon.

That's what I was thinking, backs been bad for 2 years stopped a month before the hip started. Doc wants to check out other causes first.

MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

If I have any back or hip pain my first port of call is my chiropractor. If I were to go to the doctors I would be waiting for a week for an xray, 10 days for the results then 6 weeks for physio.

I hope you soon get it sorted GP, not nice at all.

If you need the hip replacing then have it done. Ower Tone has had both done now. One 20 years ago and the other last year. He's digging the allotment this year.
Whatever happens  hope you are back diggin soon
When I get old I don't want people thinking

                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
