Allotment shop

Hello all.

I am looking for 8' bamboo canes for the allotment shop.

The best price I can find is this (for 250)

which works out at around 31p per cane.

Does any one know of a cheaper supplier?

2 or more bales cost £44.28 each..that's about 18p per cane..but there is delivery on top of that if the order is under £125
..and I think you have VAT to add as well..

We bought from these guys and they were very good .
I didn't check postage but when we bought it was free over 50 pounds.

Hi, Bluecar the best price I had for 50 new  8ft canes  they are top quality at £13.80p plus £6. 95p postage I bought them off Ebay but the larger the amount needed ask them for a price. Its Ebay log in type in 8ft bambo canes and it will all come up for you

The best long term approach is to grow your own,  find something that grows straight up, like sycamore, and keep it coppiced. That what im doing, im not self suficcient yet, but ill get there. The garden also has several very large golden and black bamboos, they get raided every year as well :D
