Fruit bush sizes

Hi folks

I am thinking of buying a fan-trained/ espalier plum tree to go along one side of my pergola, but am not sure what size I should be getting.

The only fan-trained plum trees I have found are St Julian A, which looks like it might be a bit big. I would need to keep it to the size of the pergola, which is about 8 foot x 8 foot.

I havent found any fan-trained pixy plum trees, they all seem to be bigger ones. Will keep looking!
