Hi all,  :)

I found that rodents like to nibble on polystyrene boxes. I prefer to store
spuds and other root veg in metal dustbins or tightly lidded plastic buckets surrounded by earth or used compost.

Is that like the "clamps" that the gardeners used to use? (but not with plastic buckets) ;)

Yes, but if I made a clamp I`m afraid it would become a rodents nest, so
I use containers to keep them out.

That's my worry about clamps as well.
