i have a Q
after cooking a frozen chicken can you re freeze whats left for later use

Yes you can

Having cooked the chicken it is no longer raw meat.

You are now freezing cooked chicken so it is the same as starting again.

To be honest the re-freezing thing is all to do with not cooking. So once some thing is taken out of the freezer and defrosted. It will get bacteria on it. Freezing does not kill bacteria in fact some bacteria continue to reproduce.

Heating to boiling kills bacteria. Lots of supermarkets sell defrosted products as suitable for freezing because these products have to be cooked before serving.

I found this out from reading the labels on food stuffs and then checking out what I had read.
