From Boots, of all people.

Daughter was persuaded to up her mail order by the offer of a "Gift Bag". Well, Boots are usually very good with offers etc, but try this.

In a separate parcel was.............just that!!

Unusual that it was Boots.  Has daughter complained yet?  Sure that she will receive a proper gift bag full of goodies as an apology.

looks like an 'inside job' to me Tim.

I feel sure Boots meant for customers to receive a decent gift, they are a reputable company but even years ago I have known that 'staff' can contain a few who will pilfer.

Perhaps the bar codes and and audit trail on the order will reveal who has been the beneficiary of the 'gift' intended for the customer.

It is always embarrassing though. after all, how does the customer actually prove that they have been a victim?
