what goes through your mind while digging?

I have recently started to listen to 'Planet Rock' on DAB radio, and have been stunned to discover not only how many old songs I recognise but know the words to......the time flies by when I'm digging! ::) ;D

I don't think about anything when I am digging I go to the allotment for a break from thinking

I have to keep telling myself not to put the fork though my foot - like twice before

Sounds really painful, have you tried safety shoes with steel toe caps?

Yes, Goodlife - through my wellies,  pinned me to the ground.
