I didn't have to send off anything, you show the documents to your employer, they don't get sent off, they then sign the form saying what documents they have seen. I just received a letter through the post telling me telling me what I already knew that I had no convictions and it was valid for three months!  Bit of a waste of time if I had just done something norty then! ;D ::) ??? Lots of employers are doing these now and making them a condition of employment, of questionable value unless they intend to do them every three months?
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I just had to take various documents such as passport etc to the my HR Dept  - they photocopied what they needed and then they sent the application off.
Is it your HR Dept asking for this or is it a direct request from CRB?

thanks both! tinshed ive been asked to host a youth group at our plot, only for a few weeks giving very basic gardening tuition

Have you checked the CRB website as it seems to say that individuals cannot apply only organisations - and the organisation has just to check your documents.
