Biological washing powder. Put some in the flask tonight, add boiling water & leave to steep overnight. Sorted!

I sometimes use a baby sterilising tab in my flask ....top up with water leave for a few hours....rinse using several changes of water.

This also works for me with stubbom stains...a bit of raw rice in the flask....add water...sloosh it around...rinse well!

bleach. That gets rid of the black stains and the green moulds. Any other life forms that have evolved in there get coaxed with a slice of bacon and hit with a stick
