....one of my local garden centres has their seed potatoes out on sale. I would consider getting mine in January, but not before Christmas.

Lucky you. It would be nice to have a garden centre down this way that actualy sells GARDEN products rather than christmas gifts and decorations!

Went to one yesterday looking for bits for the new greenhouse - and do you think they had what I wanted - NO! Because all the shelves were full of 'other things'  >:(
