can I remove banner advertising?

the banner advertising on my talktalk homepage takes up so much space that I'm forever having to scroll down to see the results I've searched and emails). Is there a way of getting rid of this - it advertises things I dnt want anyway

Use Firefox as your browser with adblock addon and they should disappear...

agree with  BarriedaleNick use firefox and get the no scrip addon i get no pop up or add on pages and you can choose what you want to allow to run on pages on a permanent  or temporary basis, it works for me ;)
