I think I might have been responsible for quite a few people buying White Volunteer courgette seeds earlier in the season.

So, if you are growing them, how are they getting on and what do you think of them?

My plants are very healthy and growing well.  I picked these this morning (the WV are the pale green ones)

I've got 2 White Volunteer plants (thanks Betty  ;D) they have been producing for a couple of weeks now. They are certainly quite prolific and attractive. Skin seems very delicate and marks easily - not that it matters. I like them and glad I have grown them- but the wonderful Romanesco is still definitely my favourite courgette!

Digeroo

Planted mine a bit late but nice strong plants should fruit soon.

Grew Romanesco several years ago, found the plants soooo big.  Went on a take over bid for the entire garden.

My favourite was Clarita but they have not done well this year fruit all  the wrong shape.  Used to get Unwins seed but they have stopped selling it.

Romanesco are thugs. Got mine from Franchi who describe them as a bush variety. Nooooooo....or if so I can't imagine what their trailing ones are like. Such a lovely shape texture and taste though.

My Lebanese courgettes, which are virtually the same, are producing so well we have them stuffed several times a week ;)
