Did anyone see this?  it must have been on BBC last week, because I just came across it on iplayer- a thoroughly enjoyable one-off drama set on some Liverpool allotments.

Unwashed

I think it's a lovely film, and many recognizable allotmenteers!  I particularly liked the bit when the tyranical chairman of the committee gets a smack.  I've wondered before about arranging a screening for my allotment site.

I came across this film on a long plane flight and kept falling asleep, so I am delighted to know I can watch it on iPlayer - thanks!

I just caught the end of it last week. A couple of years ago we had a thread about it here and then the video/DVD got passed around between members. It's probably ok for me to reveal now that I gave it as my Secret Santa pressie last Christmas! ;) A little known gem!

Flighty

Yes I watched it for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed it again!  8)

And I think most of us on sites run by committee recognise that chairman character! :o ;D

Sparkly

Love the film! Serious, but funny too.  ;D

I loved that film, my husband and i saw it for the first time last year, it was funny and it also put its message across well.

I have to say it is up there on my favourite film list.
