have been reading a forest garden book (interested in permaculture)  and was looking for largest shrub which was ornamental and edible. came cornus 'chinensis'  have any of you tried the fruit?

for a large shrub with edible berries, you could try sea buckthorn. Very good as a barrier. Small berries with a citrus flavour. Devil to pick
