My grannie`s been dead now for 50 years and she has more get up and go than England had last night. They didnt play like real men, more like shirt buttons. Going on thier performance last night the only cup they will get is a cup of tea and no sympanthy

I think we're missing the point. England didn't play too badly, and there were two teams out there. The ghastly thought isn't that england drew (surprise surprise) but the terrible prospect that AMERICANS MIGHT BE GETTING GOOD AT FOOTBALL.  :o

I mentioned to my husband last night that I was surprised at how well USA were playing.  He said that they  do have a majority of their players in our premiership, so maybe it wasn't ever going to be such a one sided game.  Myself I'm happy with the result - at least we didn't lose!!!
