Badgers

Any tips on badger proofing my sweetcorn? This is my last attempt to get to harvest. Lost corn 2 years in a row.

Last year I had squashes crawling around my sweet corn and nothing attacked it, but did attack several neighbours. I had no fence. Doing the same this year, but no idea if there is any correlation. I wonder if the great leaves frothing about confused them?
