For those of you who are not able to have a true Yorkshire pudding, here is one my Mum rest her soul did for us.
All the same ingredients except, minus the eggs. We called them Devonshire puds as she was from Devon.

Not so light and doughy, but they went down well with the kids, and mine love them too.

I believe that a table spoon of soya flour can be used to replace each egg and when not using eggs use baking powder and beat in a lot of air.

There is a gluten free version which works for those who want to try it too and the puddings freeze after baking so a batch can be made up in muffin tins and re-heated.

For dairy free any milk substitute works, coconut milk being especially good.
