I am going to stay with a very dear friend in Portugal later on in the week ABW. We were having breakfast this morning before going to daughters allotment & OH said "I will miss you when you go to Portugal" I thought ah how sweet, until he finished the sentence. Wait for it, "You're such a help on the allotment". Words failed me ::).

while I was on holiday OH did hired decorator to do upstairs landing.......
When I come back he was a bit weird..and finally asked "do you need to go to loo?"..(toilet is in upstairs)...I finally desided to nip up....never noticed the new walls..I only saw all the dust coating every surface...oh joy!....and then I notice the walls :o..DEEP PINK!.. :o
He chose the colour by the refrence that once before when visiting Newstead Abbey I mentioned how lovely colour the walls were in one of the rooms.. ::)
And it definately wasn't hint...it is lovely colour in that house..but my house is not a stately home. And that is not all...hubby is colour blind ::)...needless to say the colour in Newstead wasn't deep pink..nor would I have chosen the original deep blood red or the pink one on my house..didn't even know that house needed decorating...
Bless....and he really thought hard how to supprise me...he was planning that for ages.. ::)..now that is romantic..(I think?)..and I'm still living with the pink walls...but one of these days..I'll suprise him... ;)

Hmm, I would likely have said something like "where do you want me to put the laundry for when you get back"  or "can you do me some dinners for the freezer whilst your away".....

Just kidding
Ignore me I'm having a breakdown.
