Its not bad, theres a big empty field next door, sometimes I put a plant or two in there when they arent watching ( no one goes in it ), if you take the "a" of the end of 2648 you will get a bigger pic, or not it seems. I hate the brown grass, horrible chafer problem I have....

The line of turf missing is where the trench is going to put a brick wall up and then concrete the path around the house. ( Its a wife thing, I would rather put veg in it ).

Oh thats clever i can just imagine planting lots of pumpkins and squash and have them scramble over the hedge :) Its a shame they dont use the field.

Hmm, unfortunately its a field left to the parish council by some sheikh or such that lived in the village many many years ago who had racehorses ( I live up the road from a race horse stables ). However, the village is rather affluent ( I love bringing the neighbourhood down ) and every one of them who lives next to the field all seem to think its their private property, they can walk their dogs in it, they can let their kids play in it, they can even move their fences a little to grab more land, they can even drive their tractors or trailers over it if they are doing extensions or the like, but their very very quick to shout and scream at the mere mortals who try to use it on foot as a short cut to the school to get their kids, they even try to throw threats of "trespassing" at them, amazing the rich arent they !. One of them even built a new house on his plot after being told it was not allowed to be seen from the field, he waited a year or so then cut down all the trees at the back that hid it and were protected. money no object, pay the fine, got his way!.

Ahh well. I threw a tom or so in there last year, and it has masses of raspberrys in the hedges that they claim as theirs so I went foraging, I got shouted at till I got "coarse" and told them where to get off, not my normal style but they are not playing me at that game.

Who owns the field? If they've extended their gardens, and it was less than 12 years ago, they can be forced to give the land back. I hate that sort of arrogance, how dare they use it themselves, and then claim others can't!
