It will do as it is..but...to get best out of it you might want to make it like 'multivitamin pill'..you could add some comfry, dog, and/or nettle leaves..all those have various good things in them and if you really want to add 'icing on the cake' little dollop of liquid seaweed would do wonders.
Then you have yourself really good all round feed that has full range of different things in it... ;)

Before any anxious animal-lovers out there report you, I assume you mean dock  ;) (Can just see diggerick wrestling a surprised dog into the bin  :))

That mix sounds great though, goodlife. Have dock leaves got something special then? I've heard of using comfrey and nettles, but not dock. (Now I'm getting worried you really didn't mean dock... )

;D ;D I must have been distracted by my dog hovering around my ankles while typing the reply.. ::) ;D
Then again..bit of dog might do good too... :-X I've got 4 our 'past' dogs buried under one large apple tree and the tree is doing really well with the 'fertilizer'.
I haven't researched into what's in dock leaves..but what goes in can be extracted out..and dog roots go deep so they must be able to access to all sort of nutrients.
Docks are not my idea at all..Bob Flowerdew uses them in his concoctions .. ;)

We use dock in with nettles and comfrey, something to do with sulphur?
but I may be wrong  ;D

Well I have plenty of dock leaves, growing round my allotment. (and always plenty of tiny babies growing around EVERYTHING!!!)

Actually, given the way this conversation is going, I'd better specify, I mean baby dock plants, not...  ::)

Glad the dog/dock thing has been sorted out! ;)

Someone told me you could put rhubarb leaves in- I wasn't sure- any ideas- I was thinking of  the oxalic acid.

There again I was also thinking about whether rhubarb leaves could be used to acidify the blueberries? :-\
