Melon germination....coincidence?

My problems with getting melons to grow well are well documented (sigh), but I don't usually have problems at the first hurdle getting the seeds to germinate!

This year I've had some in my heated (non thermostatically controlled) propagator for three weeks with nothing showing...everything else had germinated OK so I checked last week and no seeds had rotted so I just left them in.

Yesterday I transferred them to my new shiny birthday present propagator with a digital thermostat, and this morning three seedlings are showing! Coincidence? ??? ::)

I had mine on the top of the fridge! In 5 days they were up...

This morning, all six seeds are up!  :o Fingers crossed now....... ;D

 Oh the stress... after some minor equipent changes in the pit stop she is running well and cleared the first hurdle... go for it Deb, can't you hear us all  cheering you on.
