Just don't let it seed out as you will be growing it in perpertuity otherwise- cultivation of this plant is banned in some states.

Oh ! Why is that John? Not toxic, as far as I know, as I think all parts of the plant are edible.  Just a nuisance maybe, as self-seeds prolifically ?
